Davos is one of the highest alpine resorts in Europe and the largest ski resort in Switzerland. It was one of the first mega resorts, with five separate ski areas -each equal to a resort in itself. There are long, intermediate runs and lots of off-slope potential from short routes off the back of the mountains to all-day ski circuits. It has a wide variety of recreational activities. You can buy the latest Gucci accessories or the most advanced ski equipment. There are even mountain restaurants. A wonderful place for the entire family!
LODGING: Hotel Strela is rated 3*. It is near the city center and about 400 yards from the lifts. The skibus stops about 150 yards from the hotel. It has an elevator, restaurant lounge and bar. The rooms have a bath or shower, hair-dryer, and TV. A daily buffet breakfast and three course dinner is included. The Turmhotel Victoria is 4 *. It is in the city center. The lifts are about 300 yards away with a skibus stop about 100 yards away. It has an elevator, restaurant, bar and lounge. Each room has a bath or show, hair-dryer, TV, safe, minibar and internet access. The complex has a sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, solarium, fitness room, message and beauty salon. A daily breakfast and 5 course dinner with choice of main dish is included.
MOUNTAIN FACTS: The base is at 5,118 ft, the summit is 10, 321 ft. There are 113 trails: 38%-advanced, 42%-intermediate, 20%- beginner. There are 14 gondolas, 9 chairs and 27 surface lifts.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Deposits are accepted by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Deposit: $350 per person payable at time of booking. Balance due: Feb 3, 2012. If payments are not received on time, reservations may be cancelled or resold. If held for you, late payment fee is $50 per person.
CANCELLATION FEES: Air is nonrefundable when ticketed. $25 per person to Feb 17; Feb 17-Mar 8, 40% per person; Mar 9-16- 50% per person, after Mar 9, nonrefundable. Cancellations must be received in writing at Snow Tours. Trip cancellation/travel insurance is available and strongly recommended.
DEVIATIONS & CHANGES: $25 to $50 per person, depending on the circumstances, will be charged for deviations and/or changes made after confirmation, plus any difference in tour cost.
