ALYESKA RESORT MOUNTAIN FACTS Average snowfall is more than 631 inches mid mountain and 742 inches at the summit annually, In 1997/1998 and 1998/1999 we received more than 1,100 inches fall at the top of Mt. Alyeska. The season begins in Mid-November and goes through April as conditions permit. Friday and Saturday nights throughout the ski season come check out the Sitzmark. It is a fun place to meet friends, have a beverage and listen to great live music. Warm up during a night of night skiing or enjoy the deck on a sunny afternoon. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The Sitzmark is for people ages 21 and older after 10PM. Non-smoking. The Sitzmark is open in conjunction with Mountain Operations. Doors open at 11:00 am.
