Telluride is a tiny town, with many Victorian homes, In fact, it is only 8 blocks long and 12 blocks wide, all nestled among spectacular mountain peaks. Telluride was a busy mining town for gold and silver. Today,Telluride is a popular vacation town.
The Mountain is divided into 3 sections. The west side is a beginners stomping ground, the middle is suitable for intermediates, and the east side is an experts' paradise. There is also Nordic skiing,snowboarding,heli skiing,ice skating,snowmobiling,snowshoeing,and sleigh rides.
Telluride is the ideal setting to experience a snow filled vacation with an old town charm.
