Additional Information
In the past two years, more than $200 million have been invested into the
destination including a new pedestrian village surrounding the Heavenly
Gondola. The new Heavenly Village offers skiers and riders 40 new shopping
options, 14 new restaurants, 9 art galleries and 4 new non-ski activities,
including laser tag, ice-skating, and an eight-plex movie theatre.
Heavenly is investing yet another $10 million in on-mountain improvements
including a new high-speed six-passenger lift, an extensive exterior remodel
at East Peak Lodge, additional snowmaking and upgrades to the grooming fleet.
And then there's the skiing and riding. The mountain will always stand 10,067
feet tall, with 4,800 acres of terrain. The snow will fall to earth an average
of 360 inches each season. The sun will shine more than 300 days. And, of
course, the spectacular views of Lake Tahoe will always be around every turn.
