The mountain way station of St. Anton, St. Christoph (1,784m/5,853 ft.) is linked to the St. Anton terrain by a cableway at Galzig. It's on the road to the Arlberg Pass and has essentially the same ski facilities available as St. Anton, only here you're closer to the action.
St Christoph, in Austria, is a large resort with 40 lifts (14 chair lifts, 21 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1011 metres (3317 feet) of vertical descent. St Christoph has 642 acres of terrain with pistes having a total length of 260 kilometers (162 miles). St Christoph is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is a also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too. There are 35 kilometers (22 miles) of cross country ski trails at St Christoph. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. A small proportion of the pistes at St Christoph are covered by snowmaking. The closest airport is at Innsbruck but the transfer time is 1.5 hours. The nearest train station to St Christoph is at St Anton am Arlberg. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in St Christoph.
